As pet parents, we want our furry family members to live as many years as possible. At The WellPet Group, we believe the best way to accomplish this is by making a commitment to ongoing wellness care. 

By scheduling a checkup at least once a year, you’ll help protect your pet from many common ailments that can affect companion animals. You’ll also improve the odds of early diagnosis in the event of an underlying illness.

These simple things can add years to your loved one’s life.

Prevention & Health Management

At each visit, we’ll examine your pet from nose to tail, looking for anything unusual. We’ll then create a customized care plan that will include preventative measures such as vaccines, parasite control, nutrition and weight management, and anything else we deem relevant. 

From time to time, the doctor might also recommend certain health screenings. These routine tests help us identify and address potential health problems early, before they have the opportunity to develop and worsen.

Rabies Clinics: 

We offer biannual rabies clinic for the area. Rabies Vaccination and wellness exam is performed for $20. The wellness exam establishes a client/patient/doctor relationship for a full year. This means we can provide flea and tick preventatives, or make other recommendations for the examined patient. The rabies clinic is put on once in the fall and once in the spring. The dates and times will be posted on our FaceBook page.
